All Play Foundation, Inc. is a registered non-profit providing underprivileged youth and youth organizations with funding support for a sport or recreational activity within their community. Our support consists of funding for all or a portion of registration fees, providing funding for or directly providing new/used equipment, and to cover travel related costs to the sport or recreational activity. WHO WE ARE:
All Play Foundation, Inc. is a registered non-profit organization providing underprivileged youth and youth organizations with funding support for a sport or recreational activity within their community. OUR MISSION:
To influence the lives of young athletes by providing an opportunity to be involved in youth activities that build character, instill strong values and encourage healthy choices through sports.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
I remember the worry, the guilt, and the stress on Mom’s face when I asked if I could play football. I was eleven, and Dad had just passed away, leaving Mom behind with nine children to care for. That’s not a typo; there were nine of us. Mom had to go to work and we all had to make sacrifices. For me, that sacrifice was not being able to play youth sports. I realize now that she didn’t have the time, or the money. I know how hard it must’ve been for her to tell me I couldn’t play.
I did eventually get the opportunity to play, thanks to coaches and friends who helped me with rides to practice and games, and helped me learn the sport. It was such an impactful experience for me. I made friends, became part of a team, I kept busy and out of trouble- which was good for Mom. Most importantly, it helped me deal with losing my dad. I learned how to be responsible, reliable, committed, and self-disciplined.
Inspired by my own experience with youth sports both as a player and a coach, All Play Foundation was established to help underprivileged youth and their families by providing funding assistance for youth sports and recreational activities. From registration fees to equipment, All Play is committed to providing underprivileged athletes an opportunity to play, learn, and grow.
